WAFU B Confirms New Dates For 2025 U20 Competition

The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) has officially announced revised dates for the 2025 U20 Boys Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The tournament is now scheduled to take place in Ghana from July 10 to 23, 2025, following an earlier postponement. Although the initial dates were not publicly revealed, the new schedule sets the stage for what promises to be a competitive and talent-rich event.

The U20 Boys Cup remains a cornerstone in West African football, acting as both a showcase for emerging talent and a qualifier for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. Over the years, the tournament has produced several players who have gone on to represent their senior national teams.

Ghana, hosting the tournament for the first time since 2020, is expected to deliver a well-organized competition under the leadership of the Ghana Football Association.
