WAFU B Qualifier: Nigeria, Ghana Clash Again

The rival of Nigeria and Ghana will continue at the underage level as the West African Football Union, released the draw of the U17 and U20 qualifiers, BSNsports.com.ng can report



The Black Stars of Ghana scaled through to the 2022 Qatar World Cup at the end expense of Nigeria's Super Eagles after the playoffs round.


The regional football body on Friday conducted the draw for both U17 and U20 competitions which will also serve as the qualifiers for the U17 African cup of Nations and U20 African Cup of Nations.


For the U17 draws, Nigeria's Golden Eaglets were drawn in group A alongside Togo and host Ghana, while the group consist of Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina faso and Niger.


For the U20, Flyinh Eagles of Nigeria will compete in group B with Ghana and Burkina Faso and group A have Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin and host Nigeri.


The U17 competition has been slated to take between June 11th to 24, 2022 in Cape Coast, Ghana while U20 is scheduled for May 7th to 20th, 2022 in Niamey, Niger.
