WAFU B Revises Calendar For 2026

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Zone West B has announced revised dates for its 2026 WAFU-B competitions as part of efforts to improve the scheduling and overall organization of its tournaments across the region, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the regional football body, the updated calendar is designed to ensure better alignment with both CAF and FIFA competition schedules while creating a more efficient framework for member associations.

CAF Zone West B stated that the adjustments will also optimize tournament organization, provide participating teams with improved preparation time, and enhance the visibility of all competitions held within the zone.

The regional body expressed appreciation to its Member Associations and partners for their continued support and commitment to the growth and development of football in West Africa.

The revised competition dates are expected to help participating nations better coordinate their domestic and international football activities ahead of the 2026 campaign.
