WAFU B U-17: Golden Eaglets Land In Ghana

Ahead of the WAFU B U-17 tournament slated to start this weekend, Nigeria's Golden Eaglets have landed in Ghana venue of the competition, BSNsports.com.ng reports.


The five-time World champions have been undergoing an intensive training under coach Nduka Ugbade and his technical crew.


After undergoing and passing the compulsory Magnetic Resonance Imaging( MRI) test, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) released the final list of players that will prosecute the tournament.


The team departed the shore of the country in the early hours of Wednesday and arrived at the Kotoka International Airport almost the same time the Burkina Faso team arrived.


They were received by the Local Organizing Committee Chairman Anim Sammy who is expected to lead them to their respective hotels.


Nigeria will face host Black Starlets of Ghana in the opening game of the competition at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.
