WAFU B U-17: Golden Eaglets Thrash Togo, Pick Semi-Final Ticket

Golden Eaglets of Nigeria defeated their Togolese opponents 3-0 in their final group game at the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Championship in Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Golden Eaglets ended the group stage with a comprehensive win over the Togolese via a brace from Abdulmuiz Adeleke and a solitary strike by Rapha Adams.

Edward Ochigbo won the player of the match as the Golden Eaglets finished top of their WAFU B U-17 group stage table.

The game was due to be played yesterday but a waterlogged pitch meant it was moved forward.

Golden Eaglets will now play Cote D'Ivoire in the semi-final while host Ghana will play Burkina Faso.
