Manu Garba and his Golden Eaglets will be wary of their WAFU B U17 Tournament foe Niger, after Ghana Black Starlets, on Thursday afternoon, eased past them 2-0 in a friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

A goal in each half of the game gave the Black Starlets the morale-boosting win over Niger who also used the game to prepare for the upcoming WAFU.

The goals, one each from Benjamin Hanson and Joseph Narbi ensured the Black Starlets are set for the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship with optimism.

Recall Niger is in group B with Nigeria, Togo and Burkina Faso while Ghana will be in group A with Benin and Ivory Coast for the WAFU Championship.

The WAFU Zone B U 17 Championship will be used as the qualifying tournament for the 2025 U17 AFCON.
