WAFU B U17: Victorious Golden Eaglets Arrive Abuja

Champions of West African Football Union (WAFU) B U17 tournament, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will Arrive Abuja on Saturday afternoon, BSNSports.com.ng can report.


The Nduka Ugbade tutored team will leave Accra International Airport on Saturday morning and have a stop-over in Lome before their arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja in the afternoon.


The five-time World champions on Friday night defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final of 2022 WAFU B U17 tournament at Cape Coast Stadium, Accra, Ghana to emerge champions.


The two finalists, Nigeria and Burkina Faso will fly the West African Football Union B flag at the CAF U17 African Nations Cup slated for Algeria in March, 2023.
