WAFU B U20: Bameyi Clinches Man Of The Match Award

Following his superb performance against Ivory Coast, Nigeria's Flying Eagles skipper Daniel Bameyi has been adjudged as the Man Of The Match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The defending champions came from a goal down to beat the Ivorians 2-1 and picked a semi final ticket. Bameyi defended so well, coordinated the defense and set up attacks on the opponents through accurate long passes for the forwards.

Bameyi who was part of the victorious team of the last edition gave a good account of himself in the keenly contested encounter.

He was awarded after the game by the organizer of the competition.

Bameyi will aim to deliver another distinctive performance when they face Niger in the semi final.
