WAFU B U20: Esther Ajakaye Bags WOTM Award In Win Over Niger

After an impressive showing in the Falconet's opening encounter at the WAFU Zone B Women's U20 tournament against Niger, Esther Ajakaye covered herself in glory both during and after the match - bagging a brace and clinching the Woman of the Match award.

Bsnsports.com.ng earlier reported on the Game's 7-0 result, while gathering intricate details of all that went down at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana. In the aftermath of the game, the organizing body announced Esther's feat via their official social media handle.

Ester bagged a hat-trick within 50 minutes of the game, with two of those coming in the first half (4th & 13th), while the third came six minutes away from the hour mark, helping the Falconets to a bristling start in the Zonal Continental showdown.
