WAFU B U20: Ivory Coast Stun Ghana To Face Nigeria In Final

Ghana's Black Satellites have been eliminated from the WAFU B U20 Boys Championship following a 2–1 semifinal defeat to Ivory Coast on Sunday evening in Prampram, Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite taking an early lead through Benjamin Tsivanyo, the hosts were unable to hold off a spirited Ivorian comeback.

Ivory Coast drew level before halftime and completed the turnaround in the 69th minute when Ali Koné unleashed a sublime strike that left Ghana goalkeeper Gideon Aseako with no chance.

The result ends Ghana’s campaign and sends the Ivorians into the final of the regional championship, where they will face Nigeria's Flying Eagles who earlier defeated Niger Republic 4-3 on penalties after a 0-0 regulation time result.
