WAFU B U20: Nathaniel Nwosu Makes Team Of The Tournament

Few days after the conclusion of the 2022 West African Football Union tournament in Niamey, Niger Repulic, organisers have released team of the tournament and 3 Nigeria players featured prominently, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.


Nigeria's Flying Eagles despite starting their preparations a little bit behind schedule emerged as the champions of the competition.


Three players from the Flying Eagles led by an impressive Nathaniel Nwosu was named in the team of the competition alongside Daniel Daga and Ibrahim Muhammad.


Semi-finalist Ivory Coast has 3 players also, first runners up the Benin Republic and Bukinafaso has 2 players while host Niger has 1 representative.


Nigeria and Benin qualified to represent the region in the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
