WAFU B U20 Champions, Flying Eagles Arrive In Abuja Thursday

West African Football Union (WAFU) B U20 champions, Flying Eagles will arrive in Nigeria today (Thursday) after their 2-1 victory over Ghana U20 national team in Wednesday's final, BSN sports.com.ng reports. 

The back to back champions will fly Ethiopian Airlines from Eyadema International Airport, Lome at 1:50 pm and arrive at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja at 4:30pm.

The Aliyu Zubairu led team lost their first match 0-1 to Burkina Faso before a 2-1 victory over Cote D'Ivoire saw them leading the Group B table with superior goal difference. In the semi-final, the runners-up in Group A, Niger Republic were beaten 3-1 to set a final duel with Ghana who fell 2-1 to the super power of Nigeria U20 men's football national team.
