WAFU B U20 Girls Cup: Rampant Falconets Cruise Past Benin

Nigeria’s Falconets continued their dominant run at the 2025 WAFU B U20 Girls Cup with a convincing 3-0 victory over Benin Republic on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Star forward Ramotalahi Kareem was the standout performer, netting a superb brace to power the Falconets to another impressive win.

Kareem opened the scoring in the 15th minute after a fine team move, before doubling Nigeria’s advantage in the 59th minute with a composed finish that left the Beninese goalkeeper helpless.

Substitute Precious Oscar added the icing on the cake deep into stoppage time (90+3’) to seal a comfortable 3-0 triumph for the defending champions.

For her brilliant display and decisive goals, Ramotalahi Kareem was deservedly named Player of the Match.

With the result, Nigeria remain firm favourites to advance to the knockout stage as they continue their quest to retain the WAFU B U20 crown.
