WAFU B WOMEN QUALIFIERS: Ampem Darkoa Ladies Seek Cash Backing To Beat Bayelsa Queens

Ahead of the regional qualifiers of the Women's Champions League, Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana and group opponent of Nigeria's representative Bayelsa Queen are seeking financial assistance, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
Darkoa qualified to represent Ghana in the qualifiers after they dethroned Hassaccass Ladies who played in the maiden edition.
The Ghanaian champion was placed in group B alongside Atleta of Togo and Nigeria's champion Bayelsa Queens.
The team has embarked on rigorous assignments seeking assistance financially to be able to take part in the qualifiers.
They have also taken a step further by opening a dedicated bank account in the name of the team encouraging the fans to come to their aid.
The competition which will take place in Ivory Coast has been fixed for a later date in August.
