With a few days to the start of the 2022 WAFU B Women's Champions League qualifiers, Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa has intensified readiness for the tournament, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Darkoa qualified to represent Ghana after they dethroned Hassacass Ladies by winning the league.

The team has continued its closed camping and played a series of friendly matches as the competition draws closer.

The team on Monday announced the acquisition of new player Gladys Amfobea on loan.

"Gladys Amfobea. She joins us on loan ahead of our debut CAF Champions Women’s League Campaign.

"Welcome Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne," the club said.

Darkoa is in the same group as Nigeria's Bayelsa Queens and Athleta of Togo.
