WAFU B Women Champions League Qualifier: Ghana Champions Name Killer Squad For Bayelsa Queen

Few days to the commencement of the WAFU B Women's Champions League regional qualifier, Ghana Women's Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies have released its final squad for the tournament, BSNsports.com.ng report.

Darkoa Ladies qualified to represent the country after they dethroned last season league winner's Hassacass ladies.

The team which has been in a closed camp in the capital Accra has engaged in a series of warm-up matches and also recruited new players to prosecute the competition.

They finally named their final 26-woman list on Thursday afternoon and players from Nigeria who have just been recruited into the team made the list.

The players are: Deborah Brown, Genika Ikeh, Helen Olichi Ugah and Priscilla Okyere.

Darkoa will square up against Nigerian Women Professional League (Premiership) champions Bayelsa Queens in the opening group B match.

The winner in the tournament slated for Ivory Coast will represent the region in the final competition in Morocco.
