WAFU B Women Champions League Qualifiers Postponed

Due to the non-readiness of the facilities, West Africa Africa Football Union ( WAFU) B has announced the change in date and venue for the qualifier, BSNsports.com.ng understand.

Seven teams including Nigeria's representative Bayelsa Queens have qualified to play in the qualifier and have been grouped into two.

The date was initially fixed for the 13th to 26th of August but the date and the venue has now been changed.

The information was communicated in statements sent to all member association.

" In compliance with CAF requirements concerning competition stadium, repair works are taking place both at Robert Champroux and sport park stadium initially selected for the competition of the women's champions league Coted'ivoire 2022 from August 13 to 26, 22.

The competition has now been moved to Yamossoukro the capital of Ivory Coast and will take place from August 20 to September 2nd, 2022," the statements read.
