WAFU U17: Togo Storms Accra For Golden Eaglets

Ahead of the kick-off of the 2024 U17 WAFU championship, the Young Sparrows have arrived in Accra for the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team has been in a closed camping exercise in Lome, Togo and they engaged in a series of warm-up matches to shape up the team.

The team recorded indifferent results during the matches but the team coach has reiterated confidence in the ability of the team.

Togo is placed in the same group as Niger, Burkina Faso, and the defending champion Nigeria.

The championship in Ghana will also serve as the qualifier for the U17 African Cup of Nations.
