WAFU U20: Cote d'Ivoire Shocks Burkina Faso, Warns Flying Eagles

The hope of Nigeria's Flying Eagles reaching the knockout round of the WAFU B U20 suffered a huge setback on Monday following the victory of Cote d'Ivoire, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to Burkina Faso in the opening game in a 3-team group.

The Burkinbabes confronted the Ivorians on Monday evening and suffered a 1-0 defeat.

Both Cote d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso are level on the same points and goals while Nigeria remained pointless in the group.

Flying Eagles must secure at least a 2-0 victory over Cote d'Ivoire in the final group game to qualify or bow out of the competition.
