WCAFCL: WAFU Announce Qualifying Date

West African Football Union (WAFU B) has announced the date for this year's Women's CAF Champions League qualifier, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The competition is staged to pick clubs that will represent the region in the playoffs proper.

The organizer on Friday afternoon announced August 10 to 23, 2024 as the date for the qualifier.

Edo Queens will represent Nigeria after they emerged as the winner of the Nigeria Women's Football League playoffs held in Bayelsa State.

Since the start of the competition, no Nigerian club has been able to lift the Women's Champions League.
