WTT Championship: Aruna's Game Quality Put Pressure On Me - Ma Long

Chinese table tennis star Ma Long has praised Nigeria star Aruna Quadri despite beating him in the first game of the championship, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Former World number one defeated Aruna in the first round of the WTT championship in Macao, China.

“The overall strength of the opponent, including the quality of his play, really put a lot of pressure on me.

People always say Aruna has a really good forehand, but today, I think his backhand is really good as well.”

"I think it was a very tough match today and was more active in the first game, but we were very close in the last three games, especially in the third and fourth games," he said.

Ma Long defeated Aruna 3-1 in the keenly contested game.
