WTT Feeder: Nigeria Youngster Suffers Narrow Defeat

Nigeria's Table Tennis youngster Taiwo Matti was the star of the competition at the ongoing World Table Tennis ( WTT) Feeder in Dusseldorf III, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian star put up an amazing performance against HO Kwan Kit in the Round of 64 of the tournament but ended up with a narrow defeat.

HO won the first set 12-10 and Matti claimed the 2nd and 3rd sets 11-9, 12-10, the third set went to HO 11-9, and Matti claimed the following set 11-7 before the Chinese wrapped up the game with victories in the final two sets 11-6, 11-8.

It was a solid performance but a painful exit for Matti who has been having a splendid 2022 recording amazing results in Africa and beyond.
