Waheed Bags Lobi Stars MOTM Award, Pledges To Do More

Lobi Stars attacking winger, Adebayo Waheed has bagged the Man of the Match, MOTM, award following his impressive performance in Lobi Stars' victory over Gombe United on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

While receiving the award which is sponsored by the Benue State Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Creativity Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange, the pacy winger pledged to do more for the team. 

He said: "Winning this prize means I have to put in more effort. I want to do more for Lobi Stars as well as for my career."

This is the second time the attacking winger has bagged the MOTM award since it was initiated by the Youth, Sports and Creativity Commissioner.

Presenting the award and cash donation to the recipient on behalf of the Hon. Commissioner, Lobi Stars Director of Media, Emmanuel Uja congratulated the youngster for his outstanding outing that helped his side earn victory on Matchday 12 in Lafia.

Uja, who thanked the sponsor for his wonderful initiative added that, it would spur the players to bring their very best to help Lobi Stars compete well in the League as well as place better on the League table.
