Waldrum Set To Get Super Falcons Contract Extension

By Sampson Adedeji

After a decent outing as the head coach of Nigeria's Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum is set to continue as the coach of the team if everything goes according to plan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The contract of the American gaffer ended last July after the ouster of the team from the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Just before the tournament Waldrum was expected to be released from the job after having misunderstanding with the Nigeria Football Federation.

But the performance of the team at the World Cup encouraged his employers and football followers across the country.

The football body has since opened a discussion with the coach and according to online women's football journo Sam Ahmadu, Waldrum will get a contract extension if both parties agree on the contractual terms.

Apart from Warldum's contract extension, NFF is also planning to constitute a new technical crew for the team.
