We Are 100% In Support of 10-Year Football Masterplan - NPFL Club Owners

The Chairmen of twenty Nigeria Professional Football League clubs have said that they gave100 percent support to the 10-year football development Masterplan by the Ministry of Sports, BSNSports com.ng can report.

After commissioning the Committee, the Minister of Sports last week presented the Ten-year Masterplan to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

The Chairman of Club Owners, Barrister Isaac Danladi while speaking after the closed doors meeting with the Minister of Sports Sunday Dare on Monday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja congratulated the Minister on successful presentation of ten-year Masterplan to Muhammadu Buhari and successes recorded in sports in the recent international tournaments.

"We are happy to be part of this and 100% in support of the 10-year Football Masterplan. We also want to congratulate the Minister on his achievements in three years.

He added, "We discussed on how to move Nigeria football forward and appreciate him for all he has been doing for sports development particularly on performances of athletes at the Commonwealth Games. The succesful and presentation of ten-year plan for football development to Mr President which dwelled on football in Nigeria. We are thrilled and delighted by the involvement of the 20 Premier League clubs in the report. And generally if you look at the report which we are so happy about, it clamours on how we can move our local league forward.
