Despite winning their Matchday 32 game against Nasarawa United, Head Coach of Sunshine Stars Emmanuel Deutsch is hoping to lead the team to a respectable position by the end of the season, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Goals from Chilekwu Chigoz and Ugochukwu Leonard handed the Ondo State sponsored team the maximum three point against a hard-fighting Solid Miners.

While reacting after the game, the Cameroonian gaffer expressed happiness about the outcome of the game but quickly shift focus on the next game against Niger Tornadoes.

"The league is yet to end we win the battle not the final, we want to see our position at the end of the league.

"We are happy and you can see that everyone is happy, though the boys were relaxed in the second half after showing character in the first.

"I say congratulations to Ondo State and everyone but for me, it's not uhuru yet.

"In the first round we drew with them in Lafia and when they made changes, they got a goal it was emotional but I told my bench to sit down, we need to show character, and we don't want to concede again at home because we knew the fans can feel it.

"We are going now to start preparing for our game against Niger Tornadoes, if we beat them my mind will be at rest," he stressed.
