We Know What It Takes To Play In Confederation Cup-Eguma

Ahead of the second round of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, Stanley Eguma head coach of Rivers United said they know what it takes to play in the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rivers United made it to the quarter-final of the competition last season before losing out to Yanga Sports of Tanzania.

They have been drawn against Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso in the next round of the competition this year and Eguma believed they can cross the hurdle.

Filante defeated Casa Sports of Senegal in the first preliminary round while Rivers United was drawn bye.

"Our opponent ( Etoile Filante ) participated in the first round and they have match fitness and have also tasted the competition's toughness

But it will not deter us because we know what it takes to compete and we are walking towards I believe that at the end of the day will give a good account of ourselves", he said.
