We Must Qualify For CHAN 2023 At Expense Of Nigeria - Ghana Goalkeeper

Goalkeeper of Ghana’s Black Galaxies, Danlad Ibrahim says the team must execute every strategy necessary to secure qualification to the 2023 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament at the expense of Nigeria, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Ghana put one foot in the final qualifying round after they thrashed Benin Republic 3-0 in the first leg game played on Sunday.

The Asante Kotoko shot-stopper who was in goal for the first leg said he looks forward to the clash against Nigeria in the final phase of the qualifiers for the tournament,

“Ghana and Benin, who qualifies will meet Nigeria. When you play this kind of games, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to win but the most important thing is to qualify, so we have to execute every strategy to qualify,” Ibrahim indicated.

The winner over the two legs will face Super Eagles B team for a place in the competition slated to hold in Algeria in 2023.
