We are proud of Remo Stars' achievement - Ogun FA

The Ogun State Football Association (OGSFA) has praised the performances of Remo Star Football club of Ikenne in the on-going NPFL season.

The praise follows the qualification of the Ogun State based club, for the NPFL Super 6, where they will compete to determine the eventual winner of this season's NPFL title.

Speaking on the team's feat, the Chairman of OGSFA and board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi said the qualification for the Super 6 is just an icing on the cake, considering the outstanding performances of the team all through the season.

He described the team as a worthy ambassador of the State and that of football in the State.

Alhaji Majekodunmi said both the performances of Remo Stars on the field and everything that has to do with the club off the field is a model every club should look up to and adopt.

The FA boss and NFF chieftain on behalf of the Association wished the team the best of luck in the forthcoming NPFL Super 6.

Remo Stars whitewashed Kwara United 4-0 on Sunday (May 20, 2023) to book their place in the Super 6.
