What Lookman Will Bring Into The Team - Atletico Madrid Coach

The manager of Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeone, has revealed what Nigerian attacker Ademola Lookman is expected to add to the team following his arrival at the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lookman, who completed his move to the Madrid-based side on Monday, had his first training session with the team on Tuesday, quickly making a positive impression on the coaching staff. 

Simeone expressed confidence in the former Atalanta star’s ability to make a significant impact at the Wanda Metropolitano.

“He joined the group very quickly, and you could immediately notice his physical strength, his speed, his ability to change the play, and his power in the final third,” Simeone said. 

“We hope he can help us in the way he believes he can, and in the way we expect. 

"And obviously, that important partnerships are formed for the good of the team, because that’s what it’s about: bringing good players together.”

The Argentine tactician added that Lookman’s versatility and attacking qualities will be key as Atletico look to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the La Liga campaign and upcoming competitions.
