Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has shared his thoughts on what newly invited striker Olusegun Olakunle needs to focus on to elevate his game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Olakunle, who plays his club football in Russia, debuted for the national team during an international friendly against Russia on Friday.

Following the match, Coach Chelle offered both praise and constructive feedback. “He has many qualities — he’s swift, keeps possession well, and has a strong character,” Chelle said.

“But like every player, he must keep working hard and continue developing.”

The coach’s comments come as encouragement for the young forward, who was part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
