Why I Chose Rene Wakama – Chicago Sky Head Coach

Chicago Sky head coach Tyler Marsh has shared why she selected D’Tigress coach Rene Wakama to join the team’s coaching staff, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Wakama was officially named an assistant coach for the WNBA team on Tuesday, and Marsh has now explained her decision.

"Rene has proven that she has a winning mindset and attitude," Marsh said.

"We saw her success last summer with the Nigerian National Team at the Olympics, building on an impressive winning record and an extensive background in coaching and player development."

"She is an excellent young leader and coach who will make a significant impact on the Sky’s program," she added.
