Why I Joined Istanbul Basaksehir - Dennis

Super Eagles of Nigeria winger Emmanuel Dennis has explained the reason he agreed a move to Turkish Super Lig side Istanbul Basaksehir, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Former Turkish Super Lig champions announced the arrival of the Nigerian international on Friday evening on loan from the English Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

While speaking on the move, Dennis said the team. consistent participation in the European competition encouraged him.

"My first encounter with Basaksehir was the Champions League they played against Club Brugge. The club played 50 European matches and this was very important.

"I decided to come here and I'm happy about it", he said.

Dennis will be the second Nigerian to represent the club after Azubuike Okechukwu.
