Why I Joined Valencia - Sadiq Umar

Nigerian international Sadiq Umar has shared reasons behind his decision to join Spanish club Valencia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The striker recently made the move from Real Sociedad to Valencia, despite having the option to remain at Sociedad and compete for his place.

Sadiq explained that after recovering from a significant knee injury, he is now fully fit and ready to play regularly, which is what he needs at this stage of his career.

"I suffered a serious knee injury. I was at my best before, but now I feel 100% physically. What I need is regular football," Sadiq said.

He made his debut for Valencia in their 2-0 Copa Del Rey win over Eldense on Tuesday night.
