The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced a postponement of the kick-off date for the second stanza of the 2025/26 NNL season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Originally scheduled to resume on January 31, the second half of the campaign will now begin on February 14, 2026.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the league body explained that the decision was taken due to logistical and other prevailing circumstances, without providing further details.

The NNL also confirmed that a revised fixture list will be issued in due course to reflect the adjusted timetable.

At the conclusion of the season, four teams will earn promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The promoted sides will be decided through the NNL Super Eight playoffs, which will bring together the league’s top-performing teams.
