Why We Signed Frederick- Brentford Boss

Neil Macfarlane, coach of the reserved team of Premier League club Brentford FC has revealed the reason they signed Nigeria's Flying Eagles defender Benjamin Frederick, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The London-based club announced the arrival of the Nigeria defender on Thursday on a short-term deal with an option of extension.

The coach said his quality remained the key reason they acquired his services.

 â€œBenjamin is a player who has been identified by our recruitment department and he’s a real prospect having impressed for Nigeria in recent tournaments.

“He’s a very tenacious player who likes to defend on the front foot. He’s somebody we will look to develop through our games programme, and we’ll see how his development progresses throughout his loan. 

We look forward to welcoming Benjamin to the club", he said.
