Wikki Tourists Set To Appoint Bala Abubakar As New Technical Adviser

Nigeria National League side Wikki Tourists are set to appoint experienced coach Bala Abubakar as their new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/2027 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Bauchi-based club has identified Abubakar as the man to lead their rebuilding process following their relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Abubakar brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously managed top Nigerian clubs including Niger Tornadoes, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars.

His expected appointment is part of Wikki Tourists' plans to mount a strong challenge in the Nigeria National League, with the club aiming to secure an immediate return to the NPFL.

An official announcement from the club is expected in the coming days.
