Wilfred Ndidi English Club Sacks Coach

When the English Premier League continue this weekend, Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will be playing under a new manager and Leicester City confirmed the sack of Steve Cooper, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Cooper was in the sideline on Saturday when the Foxes suffered a 1-2 home defeat to Chelsea with Nigerian International also on parade.

The club confirmed his sacking on Sunday afternoon and the assistant coach will take charge of the team going forward.

" Leicester City Football Club has parted company with Steve Cooper, who leaves his position as First Team Manager with immediate effect".

"Assistant Manager Alan Tate and First Team Coach and Analyst Steve Rands have also left the Club. Steve, Alan and Steve depart with our thanks for their contribution during their time with the Club and with our best wishes for the future", the club said
