Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare could be set for a move away from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League, according to reports.

Arokodare joined Wolves from Belgian side KRC Genk last summer in a deal reportedly valued at €24 million, arriving with high expectations ahead of his first season in English football.

However, the 25-year-old endured a difficult debut campaign at Molineux, scoring just three league goals in 28 appearances for the Old Gold as the club struggled throughout the season.

According to talkSPORT, Wolves are now willing to consider a loan move for the Nigerian forward as part of plans to restructure the squad ahead of next season.

The report also stated that the Midlands club believes securing a permanent transfer for Arokodare could prove challenging at this stage due to his inconsistent form in the Premier League.

Despite his struggles in England, the striker is still regarded as a player with significant potential and is believed to retain a market value of around €18 million.
