The Nigeria Basketball Federation ( NBBF) has revealed the reasons the Atlantic Conference league games have been shifted back to Akure Ondo State, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The league was initially slated to hold in Akure, Ondo State but was moved to Port-Harcourt because of some logistics.

The NBBF on Sunday reversed the decision again after some teams sought the postponement of the season.

According to the NBBF, 5 of the 8 teams wrote to the body asking for the postponement because the notice given to them was too short.

"Five of the 8 clubs participating in the Atlantic Conference had written to the Federation asking for the tip-off to be moved by a week or two.

"The clubs explained that the 2-day notice of venue change is too short considering the extra cost of logistics", the statement said.
