Women WAFU B: Ghana Zoom Into Final

Host country Ghana have qualified for the final of the 2023 Women WAFU B Championship on Wednesday evening with a resounding 3-1 win over Burkina Faso, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Burkinabe however opened the scoring in the 5th minute and silenced the home fans, the Black Princesses responded with a goal nine minutes later, thanks to Stella Nyameke leveler before Sucess Ameya increase the scoreline in the 29th minute.

 Ghana"s Falza Seldu sealed the game in the 82nd minute and the Ghanaians thus qualify for the final.

They will confront the winner between Nigeria and the Benin Republic this weekend in Kumasi.
