Women's Champions League: Nigerian Referees Missing As CAF Names 52 Officials

Nigerian Referees were not listed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the upcoming Women’s Champions League in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The football body selected 52 match officials including; 16 referees, 14 assistant referees, and 10 Video Assistant Referees (VAR) from countries in the continent without any Nigerian in the list.
It was gathered that referees from Niger Republic, Burundi, and Mauritania made the cut.
The CAF Women’s Champions League, which is set to kick off on November 9 and wrap up on November 23 will also feature Nigeria representives, Edo Queens.
Other eight teams that will compete include; Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Aigles de la Medina (Senegal), AS FAR (Morocco), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), University of Western Cape (South Africa), Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (Ethiopia), and the host country’s representative.
