Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku, has thrown his full support behind Police Ladies FC, urging them to dominate Group B of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Police Ladies will begin their campaign with a tough clash against Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens.

They will also face Association Sportive de la Kozah and Sam Nelly FC in the group stage.

Speaking during a visit to the squad, Okraku charged the players to approach the tournament with confidence and belief in their quality.

“I’m extremely glad about the commitment of the Police Service hierarchy to back the team as they represent Ghana in Africa,” Okraku said.

“None of your opponents is better than you. We are Ghana!”
