World Athletics Championship Update: Five Nigerian Athletes Arrive United States

Ahead of the 2022 World Athletics Championship starting Friday, five Nigerian athletes have landed in the United States for the events, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Nigeria is one of the countries expected to participate and make an impact in the championship.

According to reports, Grace Nwokocha, Samson Nathaniel, Adewale Sikiru, Patient Okon-George and Joy Udo Gabriel alongside their coach Mavuah Esabunor landed in Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.

They are expected to proceed to Oregon venue of the event later in the day to continue their readiness for the championship.
