World Athletics Relays: Team Nigeria Unveils Squad Ahead Of Botswana Showdown

Team Nigeria has released its provisional squad for the upcoming World Athletics Relays scheduled to take place in Botswana next month, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) confirmed the list as preparations intensify for the global relay event, which serves as a key qualification pathway for major international championships.

Nigeria will compete in three events at the competition, having officially secured qualification in the Mixed 4x100m relay as well as the Men’s and Women’s 4x400m relays.

The selected athletes are expected to commence final preparations in the coming weeks, with the technical crew focusing on baton exchanges and team chemistry crucial elements in relay success.

Meanwhile, World Athletics is set to release the final and confirmed entry list for all participating nations in the next few days, which will provide further clarity on lane draws and competing teams.

Team Nigeria will be aiming to make a strong impression in Botswana as they seek podium finishes and improved global rankings in the relay events.
