World Cup Playoff: Tijani Babangida Throws Weight Behind Super Eagles To Beat Ghana

President, Professional Football Association of Nigeria (PFAN), Tijani Babangida has said that the Super Eagles of Nigeria are better than their Ghanaian counterparts, the Black Stars and stand a better chance to emerge victorious, BSNSports.com.ng can exclusively report.


The former Ajax Amsterdam star admitted that the game will not be easy as the rivalry between the two countries continues.


"To me, this our team is presently a mile ahead of Ghana team.. But Nigeria most work hard in both games. I only wish for the best for our Super Eagles." The former Super Eagles winger told BSN Sports.


"No one can predict a game like Nigeria VS Ghana. Like I said before, it is a complete different kind of gam. The rivalry between the two countries makes it more intense." He added.


The three times African champions, Nigeria will slug it out with Black Stars of Ghana in all-important two-legged Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Playoff.


With 12 players in Abuja, the Super Eagles camp opened on Saturday, March 19 while Ghana start camping on Monday 21, March. The first leg takes place at the Baba Yara Stadium, Ghana while the second takes place four days later in Abuja, Nigeria.
