Ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup playoffs, the Panthers of Gabon have announced a 27-man squad to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The much-anticipated encounter is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, in Rabat, Morocco. Gabon’s head coach, Thierry Mouyouma, unveiled the list during a press conference on Thursday, confirming the inclusion of several of the country’s top stars.

Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang headlines the squad alongside experienced players Denis Bouanga, Mario Lemina, Bruno Ecuele Manga, and Guélor Kanga.

Also earning a call-up is rising talent Noha Lemina, the young midfielder plying his trade with Yverdon Sport FC in Switzerland. Gabon will be banking on the experience and attacking firepower of their veterans as they aim to upset the Super Eagles and move one step closer to a historic World Cup qualification.

The winner of the Gabon–Nigeria clash will advance to face the victor between Cameroon and DR Congo in the next round of the African playoffs.
