Ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup playoffs, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has confirmed the venue and opening date for the Super Eagles’ training camp, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria will battle Cameroon, Gabon, and DR Congo in the playoffs scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco.

Gusau revealed that the Federation is working closely with the National Sports Commission (NSC) and the players to ensure thorough preparation and a successful campaign.

“Everything is being done by the NSC and the NFF to ensure nothing is left to chance. No stone will be left unturned. That same spirit that drove the team to score four crucial goals against Benin Republic in the final qualifier will inspire us again in the playoffs,” Gusau stated.

He further confirmed that the Super Eagles’ camp will officially open in Rabat on Sunday, November 9, with all invited players expected to arrive promptly.

“We are already in communication with the players, and everyone is on the same page. Every preparation needed for success will be made. The players are fully motivated by the dream of representing Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup finals,” he added.
