Sampson Adedeji
As Rwanda prepares for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Nigeria, midfielder Jojea Kwizera has urged fans to come out in full support to help secure a vital victory, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Amavubi are determined to maintain their position at the top of the table, viewing a win over the Super Eagles as essential.
Speaking through the Rwanda Football Federation’s social media platform, Kwizera encouraged fans to fill the stands.
"Hello everyone, this is Jojea Kwizera with the Rwanda national team," he said in a short video shared on FERWAFA’s X handle.
"I want to invite everyone this Friday to come and support us as we face Nigeria in our World Cup qualifier. We have a big advantage playing at home."
"We also have another important game against Lesotho, so we need all the support we can get," he added.
Rwanda currently leads Nigeria by four points in the standings, with seven points from four games, while the Super Eagles are yet to register a win in the qualifiers.
