Rwanda has unveiled a strong and highly competitive roster ahead of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers Africa (Window 1), as they prepare to battle Nigeria’s D’Tigers in Group C, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The qualifiers are scheduled to take place in Radès, Tunisia from November 27–30, 2025, with Rwanda set to face Nigeria on Sunday, November 30, in what is expected to be a crucial encounter.

The Rwanda Basketball Federation confirmed that the team is fully prepared both physically and mentally, with the final squad featuring a blend of experienced overseas-based stars and talented homegrown players determined to push the country closer to World Cup qualification.

The Rwandan camp expressed confidence that the selected squad is capable of challenging any opponent in the group and securing vital wins.

Group C also features strong sides, making every match highly decisive as teams compete for spots in the next phase.

Nigeria’s D’Tigers, who arrived in Tunisia earlier in the week, will be looking to start their campaign on a winning note, but they face what promises to be a tough battle against a motivated Rwandan team.

The highly anticipated clash between Rwanda and D’Tigers will tip off on Sunday, November 30, in Radès.
